I had such a great time with this couple photographing their engagement pictures. I have not spent a lot of time in Saugatuck and they gave me such wonderful tour of the area. We started at a park, went to Downtown Douglas (which is SO cute), to the beach and the coolest bar on the water I have ever been too! They were so genuine with each other and with me. I hope you love the pictures and I can’t wait for your August wedding!

Have you ever met a family and thought, “I just love them.” The dad still knows how to make the mom laugh, you can see what wonderful parents they were by watching their children raise their own families, and it takes no time at all to see how much they value each other. This is the Hoekstra family and I have been blessed with the opportunity to help them save their family memories. There are few things that will always hold great value throughout your entire life, but time spent with family and the memories you share with the people you love is certainly one of them. You will never regret having a way to preserve your family memories and this is why I love my job.
If you have spent any time on my website, you will recognize several people in this family. Little Dash is in the baby bundle program (you will see him again soon!) and I did a Day after bridal shoot with Megan and Jon. It was such pleasure working with your family and I am excited to see everyone again soon! This couple is just so cute together! I met up with Courtney and Brian for their engagement photographs in Grand Haven and had such an awesome time. It is so great to be with people who truly enjoy each other. I know people say this all the time, but it really is a small world. As we were talking during the session I learned Brian is a golfer and we played in the same summer tournament in High School. I even worked on the staff for a while and probably registered him without even knowing it. You just never know who you might meet! I hope you love the pictures and I can’t wait to photograph your wedding!

I have a brain twister for you. The mom of this handsome little man and I share a half brother and sister, but we are not related. Kari is my dad’s ex-wife’s daughter and we became best friends in middle school. She was maid of honor in my wedding and has put up with A LOT from me throughout the years. I’ve also known her husband Chris since high school too and so they are basically family to me. When I told Kari I wanted to try something different for Braden’s baby pictures, I am sure she thought, “What kind of crazy thing is Michelle going to make me do now!” I really wish I could have been there when they were doing the mold of her pregnant body, because just knowing those two, I probably would have screamed with laughter.
Kari and Chris – I love you guys! Your little Braden is absolutely beautiful and I know you both will be amazing parents. I hope you love these pictures and I can’t wait to love on your little man again soon.

Say hello to Hudsonville High School’s En Vida Senior Model Heather Clark! One thing I truly value about my job is coming up with new and creative ways to make people feel and look beautiful. To create dynamic portraits that are alluring and interesting to view. Heather makes my job oh so easy.
